For this project, I really wanted to design a snack brand that I would personally use. I have a HUGE fascination with cute packaging design and so I wanted to design packaging that would catch the eyes of both kids and adults. Weirdly enough, while I know I wanted to start with fruit, I wanted to start with durian because of the stigma around the fruit. I figured that if I could find a way to market durian to a more western audience, this could help bring durian to the forefront of the fruit conversation.

Because of this, I started by designing the mascot and going from there.
